Redondo Beach Project A recent project in Redondo Beach allowed us to explore new design possibilities by combining Moving Color® tiles with natural stone. Watch for us on HGTV’s “I want that!” for an exclusive look.
Thermotectonic Skyscraper
Study into skyscraper design utilizing Moving Color thermocromatic tiles on exterior. Thermocromatic tiles change color with the ambient temperature. In cold weather the building tiles turns black and absorb heat. In hot weather the building tiles turn white reflecting heat and thereby cooling the building.
Concourse Study Study into modeling procedure and techniques in airport concourse design and testing. Roof system utilizes Moving Color thermocromatic tiles. Designs by Charles Lee.
